This is too cute!  I got this adorable mason drink jar at Walmart. Just click on the picture to check out all of the fashionable color choices!  I always carry around water with lemon in the summer and know this will be the perfect mug to do it in!  It's  large and it's plastic.  The straws are super cute and there are other straw refill packs too!  The best part- it's under $5.  Click the picture to check out all the choices.

I'm doing my first linky with:

March of Dimes

Today was our annual March of Dimes: March for Babies Walk!  We've been going every year in support of this little miracle!
His name is Jake and he is my school bestie's son.  He was born  a preemie and has been through a lot! Now, he's a perfect, happy, energetic ball of fun!  This walk has become a family tradition and we love to get together every year with our friends for this event. Here are some highlights!

Did I mention there are all kinds of fun events for the kiddos too?  There's face painting, balloon animals, cupcake decorating and caricatures.

Here we are getting ready for the race to start. Tatti and Daddy are playing tag!  That girl has energy for days!

After the walk, we all get together and go to a nearby diner for lunch. Here are some highlights of the fun we have there. I think the kiddos were playing musical chairs they switched seats so often!!

If you're feeling bad for the other people in the restaurant right now- you probably should be!!   But seriously, we are so blessed to have these wonderful people in our lives!!  We look forward to this little get together! Until next year....

A Sleepover!! Time at the Dam and playdates!

Tatti had a sleepover with her twin besties!  They had so much fun  and got along so well !!
Here are some cute moments!

What's a little girls' sleepover without painting nails- right?

Don't let the fact that the girls are brushing their teeth at 8 o'clock fool you! They were still up talking at 1 and  dressed and running around at 6 the next morning!  Why do they call them sleepovers???

They even got to play a little the next day because it was so nice out!! Please excuse the eye sore cinder blocks. (We had a little trampoline+ wind= NOT GOOD,  incident)

After the girls left, we headed out to the dam to hang out with our cousins. We had to enjoy this beautiful day with the never ending winter we've had.

Hannah, Aven and Logan were already there.  Their Dads were busy working on cars and they were busy playing.

The boys were busy trying to help fix stuff with "tools" in hand. The girls were pretending to fly because it was crazy, windy!!

Our cousin Zoey (or Zolo like I call her) came to the dam too, but she wanted to come home with Tatti.  Zoey is 3. She is a little spit fire! She likes to sing and giggle. She also likes to get her own way and is very smart. She needs to be independent and doesn't want help with much!!!  She loved playing dollhouse and found a button on the van radio that played music. Tatti made up a dance to each different song that played and Zoey thought it was a hoot- especially Tatti's version of the robot. She kept giggling and pushing the button over and over!
As our cousin was leaving, our neighbor came over to play. Tatti's day was like one, big , continuous play date!!!!

Our Easter 2014

Our Easter was nice!  We woke up in the morning to see that the Easter bunny had come to visit.   He always leaves the girls their baskets outside of their bedrooms.
First, the girls opened their baskets of goodies!

Tatti was excited to finally get Viperine! They also got matching skirts which they are excited to wear to our  beach vacation.

Madison was excite to get new clothes and a bathing suit. Tatti loved her Chelsea's clubhouse. She was thrilled for her license plate with her name. She is forever looking for  her name on stuff in stores-- and never finds it. The Easter bunny did!!

After opening their baskets, the girls went on their egg hunt.  There were plastic eggs hidden all over the house filled with money and treats! One even had a lush bubble bar in it.
We went to my parents' house for lunch. On the way, we had to stop for a photo!!

The girls have a tradition at my parents house. It's something that I loved when I was a kid. I would wake up earlier than I did for Christmas at Easter. I couldn't sleep in great anticipation of our Treasure hunt.  Keep reading to learn more.

You get a clue to start and have to follow the directions to find the next clue and so on and so forth...
The prize at the end was a Disney Fibber game.  We LOVE Fibber!! If you've never played- you must, it's funny!

Tatti helped decorate the table for Easter and was  very proud!

We had a delicious meal because my Mom's like the best cook ever!!!

After lunch, we headed to the town egg hunt- because it's kind of a tradition.  They make tons of hard boiled eggs and hide them on the Little League Field.  Kids are separated into age groups and find as many eggs as they can. When they are done, they each get a bag of Hershey kisses and a ticket. A ticket is then drawn and the winner gets a new bike. It's great and draws a large crowd in our small town.

Tatti's favorite high schooler- Stephen came over to inspect her winnings. She had to eggs with dollar signs on them, which meant she won $2.
Tatti ended the night by playing her new MASH game that EB brought. Did anyone else play this when you were a kid? I know my friends and I did- repeatedly. Ours was on notebook paper though, not in a fancy dry erase book!

How was your Easter? Let us know in the comments below.
